Payton is 11 Months

My baby girl will be 1 in a month.  I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that idea. Anyway...

Payton is 11 months and

SHE NOW...

claps her hands when she's super happy, hears music, or when we clap

waves to you {and everyone around her} hello

says mama A LOT

has two more teeth coming down on top

LA LA LOVES graham crackers

{that's all she would eat if I let her}

bounces a lot to music while sitting or standing

walks fast around the couch

walks fast while just holding onto one of our hands

is a little more of a momma's girl these days

LOVES books more than most of her toys

will hurry over to me and sit on my lap the moment I start to read a book

likes to turn the pages herself while we're reading and gets mad when I do it
would rather be outside playing in the grass and leaves watching the cars drive by
loves dogs and kids more than anything

is nearly impossible to take pictures of because she moves so fast!

10 Months

Payton is 10 months old and

SHE NOW...

has 4 teeth {2 bottom & 2 top}

for real crawls

never ever EVER sits still

self feeds

is starting to pull herself up in her crib

continues to smile and laugh all day every day

walks very well with assistance

continues to talk more and more

is a daddy's girl

{The other day I was trying to put her down for a nap and she started to SCREAM.  Since it was out of character for her I went right back in and picked her up.  When I did she pointed to the door and said, "dada! dada! dada!"  So I took her to dada and she was happy.  Then I made him put her down for a nap.  Haha!}

9 months

Payton is 9 months old and

SHE IS NOW...
28.25 inches long {50th percentile}
18 lbs 3 oz {50th percentile}
She is perfectly average...haha!

AND SHE...

rolls around everywhere

crawls in circles, scoots backwards, and is starting to "crawl" forward

LOVES my parents' dogs (Tootsie and Toby)

says bababa, dadada, & mamama

points to things

likes to blow raspberries

reaches for EVERYTHING

loves to watch videos of Elmo and Cookie Monster

will pull her blanket over her face and pull it down to play peekaboo

bounces when she hears music

waves "hi"

will sometimes sit and concentrate on one toy or book or show for a good 30 minutes

claps her hands when she gets excited

8 months!

Payton is 8 months old and

SHE NOW...

loves to smile and giggle
is starting to eat more solid food

uses her "pincers" to pick up cereal puffs to feed herself

LOVES her baby food
now likes to hang out on her tummy
is starting to "crawl" backwards and in circles

is very easily distracted and is getting much more difficult to breastfeed

likes to sit in the grocery cart like a big girl and gets LOTS of compliments

LA LA LOVES my keys

is starting to take just 2 naps a day

has two teeth JUST about to surface

{but OH can I tell they are there when she chomps down on my finger when I try to feel them!!!}

still loves Baby Einstein

LOVES to watch concerts on Blu-Ray even more

{Coldplay and Celine Dion are her faves...no joke}
